Hyperpigmentation?

Hyperpigmentation in skin typically is caused by the aggregation of melanin in the epidermal basal layer. There are two forms of melanin: eumelanin and pheomelanin, both of which are synthesized in melanocytes. In melanocytes, tyrosine is converted to melanin by the enzyme tyrosinase, whose bioactivity determines this conversion rate. Inhibiting melanin biosynthesis can therefore treat or reduce hyperpigmentation.

So far, inhibiting tyrosinase bioactivity through competitive and copper-interacting mechanisms has been the most effective, and several kinds of synthesized or extracted inhibitors, such as kojic acid and hydroquinone, have been applied in cosmetic whitening products. However, their long-term safety is an issue due to side effects such as excessive depigmentation and carcinogenesis.

How To Deal?

Hyperpigmentation

Now that we’re living in an age of selfie 'High Mega pixel cameras and filters … seems like high time to discuss about hyperpigmentation.

When thinking about hyperpigmentation, it's best to break it down into two categories: prevention and treatment. As always, knowledge is power.

Prevention

It goes without saying, but we'll type it anyway: Stop picking at your skin and don't just apply sunscreen—remember to reapply every two hours.

“So you have to be much more careful around heat, with the sun, with any type of extractions, or anything that could make a change in the epidermis.” Men have to be especially careful of ingrown hairs on their face and women with facials. “Even a hot yoga class or some time in a sauna can bring out pigment,” “ As soon as you put a chemical lightener on your skin, you become a magnet for the sun. You have to wear a hat.” Adding in an antioxidant or vitamin C serum doesn't hurt either.

Treatment

First things first, gentle physical or chemical exfoliation. There are possibilities these spots will get darker before fading out.

Recent research has developed and identified few newer molecules they are tough on spots but gentle on skin.If you’re an ingredient-list reader, be on the lookout for Azelic acid ,Tranexemic Acid and 4 N Butyl Resorcinol.

e'clat superior Fadeout depigmenting serum has these molecules in right Percentage to clear the spots in just 4 weeks" This formulation has made this brand the most promising brand for the treatment of Hyperpigmentation,Age Spots ,Melasma and Pigmentation around mouth.
